What to Include in a Supplement Supply Enquiry
A precise B2B enquiry helps a potential supplier understand your requirement and respond with relevant information. Use this checklist to prepare a vitamin or dietary supplement request.
1. Identify your business and role
Start with your company name, website if available, contact person and business email. State whether you are a retailer, distributor, healthcare-related business, supplement company or procurement team. A concise introduction helps the recipient understand the commercial context of your request.
2. Describe the product accurately
Specify the product category and exact brand or item when known. If you are sourcing a formulation rather than an existing item, outline the ingredients, strength and other essential specifications. Do not assume that a broad label such as “wellness supplement” identifies a particular product. If your team has a specification sheet, refer to the details relevant to the first conversation.
3. State format and packaging needs
Include your preferred format, such as capsule, tablet, softgel, powder or liquid, if applicable. Give the expected pack size, presentation and labeling needs where known. These requirements may affect which products can be considered. Distinguish a mandatory format from a preference so the discussion stays efficient.
4. Give quantity, market and timing
Provide an estimated quantity or volume range, the intended destination market and your target timing. State whether the quantity is for an initial order, ongoing demand or planning only. If you have a firm deadline, say so; a supplier should be able to assess that timing rather than infer it.
5. Flag documentation and commercial requirements
Professional buyers may have product documentation, packaging, invoicing or other procurement requirements. Mention these early and ask what can be provided for the specific product. Commercial terms, lead times and any minimum order quantities should be discussed directly rather than assumed from a general website page.
What happens after submission
ISTC LLC reviews each relevant business enquiry and may ask clarifying questions. Product availability, brand, specification, pack size, quantity and terms are confirmed individually. Submitting a request does not reserve stock or establish a trade account.
